How to Fix MBR in XP Pro
The Master Boot Record (MBR) in Windows XP is a file that controls how the computer boots into the operating system. If this file is deleted or corrupted, it will cause the operating system to fail to boot properly. Fortunately, with an XP installation disc, you can repair the MBR and make the computer start properly again.
