How to Carry an Extension Ladder
Extension ladders can be used at home or at work. They can help you get up onto your roof safely, hang Christmas lights, lift you up to trim your trees or replace lightbulbs. However, transporting an extension ladder can be quite difficult. The ladders are designed to extend upward, increasing the height of the ladder. Because of this, the ladders can become cumbersome and hard to carry. There is a certain way that the ladders should be carried to prevent injury. Does this Spark an idea?

Lay the ladder flat on the ground. Slide the extension down, keeping the ladder at its smallest length.

Turn the ladder over so that it's resting on its side with the head tray facing in front of you.

Step to the side of the ladder and stand approximately a third of the ladder's length forward of the feet.

Bend your knees and grab the upper rails with both of your hands. Walk slowly while carrying the ladder.
