How to Make a Used Flash Drive Look Like a Memory Card on Xbox 360
Instead of spending money on an Xbox 360 memory card to travel with your saved games, songs or cheats you can convert a USB flash drive into a memory card. USB flash drives can cost a fraction of what a memory card would. They are also an item most people have laying around the house. Even those who are not computer wizards can convert a flash drive into a memory card.

Select "Memory" on the next screen. It will display all connected devices, such as Xbox 360 memory cards, USB devices, and hard drives. Select the flash drive you wish to make into an Xbox 360 memory card.
-
4
Choose "Configure Device" or "Customize" on the new screen that will appear. If you want your entire flash drive to become an Xbox 360 memory card, choose "Configure Device". If you only want part of it to be a memory card, select customize.
-
5
Select "Yes" on the window that says "Configure Device" to confirm you want to make it a memory card. If you selected customize, the next window will allow you to decide how much space you want to become an Xbox 360 memory card. Select as much as you want to be converted. It will test and configure the device. This takes a few minutes. Your device is now ready to be used as an Xbox 360 memory card.
