    Promote the vision of a new democratic social order.

  3. Step 3

    Require that businesses and the wealthy pay their fair share.

  4. Step 4

    Ensure that all Americans receive a living wage.

  5. Step 5

    Raise worldwide living standards through international cooperation.

  6. Step 6

    Ensure that people and the planet are not exploited.

Tips & Warnings
  • Opposing political parties may actually agree on certain principles and issues.
  • Be aware that there is some disagreement within most political parties on the abortion issue.
  • Watch or record political TV programs on CSPAN, MSNBC and CNN.
  • Read the political sections of "The New York Times," "The Washington Post," or other national newspapers. Most are online.
  • Write or fax your congressperson about issues that concern you.
  • Voters should familiarize themselves with several party platforms before voting or registering with a party.

on 1/12/2009 So many have been "don'ked"....if they want a country contrary to what we were originally founded on (before the great re-write of American History 101)...there are plenty of foreign countries that will open them with open arms.

on 11/3/2008 Did I hear "Socialism"? America was founded on the principles of (1) God (2) Family and (3) Country in that order. Socialism calls for public rather than private ownership and/or control of property and business. Do I hear a vote for the New World Order and a U.N. Constitution which has been promoted and defeated by U. S. leaders for more than 20 years? Be careful what you wish for....
