How to Make an Easypose Dial in Poser
Poser is a popular 3-D graphics and animation program that is used by many amateurs who would like to create 3-D animation of their own while avoiding the greater expense and complexity involved in using a program like Maya or Cinema 4D. Poser comes with a number of posable figures users can use in their images and animations. In addition, there are number of free and for-sale models available on sites like Renderosity and Daz 3D. But while these models come with a number of poseable parts and dials inside the "parameter Dials" panel for posing them, this can be an slow and awkward process. Fortunately, it is possible to use the CR2Edit program to edit the models to produce what is known as a "Easypose" (or "ERC") dial that combines the functions of several dials into one (to bend a tail, for instance).

Click "Ready." In the next dialog, you select the "axis" channel (X,Y or Z) that the Parts will bend along.

4
Choose the name that you want for the easypose dial that will control this function. Then click to choose the body parts that will be controlled by the dial.

Enter the "Ratio" for the control, which essentially sets the sensitivity of the control. If you set a small ratio, you will have to turn the dial more that you would if you set the ratio high. This is personal preference.
