How to Pull Out Blackheads

Blackheads happen when oil mixes with dead skin cells to clog the pores in your skin. Blackheads are common, but that doesn't make them any less annoying. Luckily, many products are designed to eliminate blackheads and make your skin much healthier. One of these products, pore strips, can be used whenever needed to pull out existing blackheads.   • Water
  • Pore strip
  • Cotton ball

Instructions

      Splash a couple of handfuls of water over your already clean face. Make sure your nose and cheeks are saturated.

      Remove the film on the back of a pore strip and carefully stick it over your nose and cheeks. Pat a soaked cotton ball over the strip to make the top of it wet as well. Pat the rest of your face dry with a towel. Wait about 10 minutes or until the pore strip is completely dry.

      Peel the pore strip away gently to pull out the blackheads. Discard the strip in the trash.

Tips & Warnings

  • Pore strips are not designed for the treatment of acne and should only be used if your skin has excess blackheads.
