How to Make Stickers for a Racecar
Racecar stickers that are designed well can set your racecar apart from all the other cars at the race. Although it is nice to have the fastest racecar and the winning racecar, it is also nice to have the best looking racecar on the strip. Racecar stickers can consist of an individual number and company logo sponsor stickers to a full-body racecar wrap. Many times a combination of both a custom racecar wrap with custom racecar stickers for advertisers yields the best results.

1
Select the parts of the racecar that will be covered in stickers or racecar wrap. There are wrap kits, full wraps and semi wraps to consider. Decide how much of the car you want wrapped or stickered.
-
2
Photograph your racecar to plan stickers for it. Take a picture of the side of the racecar with the camera lens about 2.5 feet from the ground--a straight, one-side shot. Repeat for the other side and the back and front of the racecar.

3
Draw the racecar body views from the pictures in a sketch pad if you are graphically inclined, or scan the pictures into a digital editing program.
-
4
Experiment with different colors, designs, patterns and placements for advertisers' logos using either the racecar sketch or the racecar photos in the digital editing program.
-
5
Select a company to produce the customized racecar stickers or racecar wrap, or both, that will be needed to complete the look for the racecar to make it ready for the races.
