How to Send Videos As Email Attachments

Sending video as an email attachment is relatively easy.

Videos, when saved on your hard drive, can act like any other file that you come across. This includes having the ability to be sent in an email, much like a document or a picture. When sending videos through email, you should be cognizant of the file size maximum of your email server, as videos tend to be large files.

Instructions

1. Save the video as a file on your desktop, since this is the easiest place to find a file.

2. Open your Microsoft Outlook application. If you are using a Web-based email service, open a browser and log in to your email.

3. Start a new email message. Click "Insert File" in Outlook, or "Attach File" (or "Attach") in your Web-based email.

4. Browse for your video that you saved in Step 1. Highlight it and click the "Open" or "Attach" button in the dialog box.

5. Compose your message in the body of the email. Type in the email addresses of those to whom you want to send the video.

6. Click the "Send" button.
