Instructions

    • 1

Purchase poker table plans. Most poker table plans are for oval Texas hold-em poker tables. These plans are easily modified, however, for a crescent-based poker table. Use a pencil to modify the plans for the oval poker shaped table to a crescent shape poker table.

    • 2

Place one sheet of plywood or particle board on the sawhorses. Use a pencil and the crescent-shape plans to trace the crescent shaped base or playing surface on the piece of wood. Cut this playing surface from the wood with a jigsaw.

    • 3

Lay the remaining sheet of wood on the sawhorses. Use a pencil and the crescent-shape plans to trace the crescent shaped armrest on this piece of wood. Cut the armrest from the wood with the jigsaw.

    • 4

Cover the crescent-shaped playing surface with foam. Cover the armrest with foam. Wrap the foam over the edges of each surface and staple it to the bottom of each surface with a staple gun.

    • 5

Cover the crescent-shaped playing surface with poker felt. Wrap the felt around the edge of the playing surface and staple it to the bottom of the surface with a staple gun. The felt should cover the foam tightly.

    • 6

Cover the crescent-shaped armrest with the vinyl. Wrap the vinyl tightly around at the foam covered armrest and staple the vinyl to the bottom of the armrest.

    • 7

Lay the armrest over the playing surface. Make sure the armrest sits evenly on the playing surface. Use a cordless drill with a screwdriver bit and wood screws to attach the armrest to the playing surface. Drive the screws from the bottom of the playing surface into the armrest.

    • 8

Finish the poker table by attaching the legs to the bottom of the table with the attachment hardware.
