Instructions

    • 1

Clean off the surface of the tile with paper towels to remove any buildup of dirt and debris. Mix together 1 cup of white vinegar with 1 cup of water.

    • 2

Dip a sponge in the mixture and wipe the tile. The vinegar will loosen up the calcium and magnesium deposits from the hard water.

    • 3

Clean any discolored grout in between the tiles with the vinegar-water mixture and a soft brush. Rinse off the vinegar mixture with water.

    • 4

Spray the glass tile with a hard-water cleaner that removes mineral stains and scum. Because most hard water cleaners contain harsh acids, wear goggles and gloves when spraying.

    • 5

Wipe down the area with a towel. Open a window to air out the bathroom or kitchen.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a squeegee after every time you shower to reduce the amount of hard water build up on the glass tile.

  • Avoid using any mixture that contains bleach with ammonia to clean glass tile, because it produces a harmful chemical reaction.
