How to Unlock the Cheat Menu for Mortal Kombat 4 (N64)

For automatic fatalities and character endings, unlock the cheat menu using the following steps on the Nintendo 64 game console.

Access Cheat Menu

1. Go to the "Options" screen from the main menu.

2. Highlight the "Continues" option.

3. Hold the Block button and the Run button (default buttons are C Left and C Down) for about 10 seconds, until the word "Outstanding" is spoken. The cheat menu appears and all the options are accessible, including automatic fatalities. Only one of the following cheat options can be used at a time.

4. Unlock the "Endings" option on the cheat menu, which shows you a character's ending. Start a game in arcade mode and defeat another character to display the character's ending to the game.

5. Unlock the "Fatalities 1" option on the cheat menu. To finish your opponent with the character's first fatality, hold Down on the directional pad and press the High Punch button.

6. Unlock the "Fatalities 2" option on the cheat menu. To finish your opponent with the character's second fatality, hold Down on the directional pad and press the High Punch button.

7. Unlock the "Level Fatalities" option on the cheat menu. To finish your opponent with the character's fatality for a particular stage, hold Down on the directional pad and press the High Punch button.
