      Tie the ends of a 20-foot rope together. Stretch the rope on the floor and visually mark the center of the rope.

      Balance the plywood upright on one 8-foot edge.

      Loop the rope around the two bottom corners of the board. The rope will cross each corner at an angle.

    • 4

      Grab the center of the double rope with one hand and balance the top of the board with the opposite hand.

    • 5

      Lift the plywood up using the rope handle and carry the plywood.

Tips & Warnings

  • You also can lift the board by reaching over the top and grabbing the rope handle. Reaching over the top works well for a taller person.

  • Wear gloves to protect your hands from wood slivers.
