How to Create an Executable Powerpoint File
Executable files are read-only and include an EXE file extension. When you share an executable PowerPoint file, users do not have to own a copy of PowerPoint to view your presentation. The file plays automatically when you load it on your computer or open the file, and your PowerPoint presentation and data are preserved. You can create an executable PowerPoint file quickly by using an EXE converter. Alternatively, if you don't have access to a PowerPoint to executable file converter, you can convert your PowerPoint into a format that the converter can change.
Instructions
-
Option One
-
1
Open "Download PPT to EXE Converter" or "PPT to EXE Converter Enterprise" (See "Resources" section for link).
-
2
Click on the first button under the "Single conversion" tab and retrieve your PowerPoint file. Then double-click on your presentation file to load it into the program.
-
-
3
Change or keep the file name and output folder of your executable file. To generate an autorun file for a VCD or DVD disk, add a checkmark to the option.
-
4
Add a checkmark to "Additional files required..." if your PowerPoint includes music, video or other linked files. Click on the "Add files" button to retrieve additional files, then press "Convert."
Option Two
-

-

Click on "Browse" to find your PowerPoint file. Choose "SWF" as the format you want to convert to.
-
