How to Cash Old Chase Travelers Checks
Many people get traveler's checks before they leave on vacation. Traveler's checks are easier to cash than a personal check, and they can be safer than cash because they can be replaced if they are lost or stolen. But you might not use all your traveler's checks on your trip. If your traveler's checks are from a JP Morgan Chase Bank, you can spend them long after you have returned home.

Find a participating institution to cash your checks. Nearly all banks, both in the United States and abroad, accept traveler's checks. The checks also are accepted at most large retailers. But if your checks are old, a bank probably is the best place to cash them.

Bring your traveler's checks and photo ID into the bank; you might need a passport if you are traveling internationally. Hand the checks to the teller, and ask for the full amount in the local currency. The teller will need to verify the checks and your ID.
