How to Change a Name in Task Manager
Windows XP and Windows 7 include a feature that allows you to change a user name in the task manager. This feature is often referred to as "Fast User Switching." The benefit of this feature is that it allows multiple users to log on to a computer quickly and simultaneously. For example, User A can log on and open several programs. Then, user B can log on, check his email, and then log off, leaving user A's programs untouched. By default, fast switching, is disabled.
