How to Enter Coordinates on Navigon

How to Enter Coordinates on Navigon thumbnail
Coordinates are much more exact than addresses.

Although their use is slightly more complex, coordinates have several advantages over addresses. For instance, coordinates provide the user with the exact location of something, rather than an approximate location you would get with a point of interest or an address. In addition, you get pinpoint directions to the location as well. Many GPS devices such as the ones made by Navigon allow for optional coordinate entry for this reason.

Instructions

    • 1

Tap on the "Options" button in the main menu.

    • 2

Tap on the "Enter Coordinates" setting on the Options menu.

    • 3

Enter the coordinates you want to use in the menu that appears.

    • 4

Click "Start Navigation" to start directions to the coordinates you entered.

Tips & Warnings

  • Not all Navigon GPS units support Coordinate Entry.
