Create Playlist for Sony Walkman MP3 Player.

Sony has brought back its popular Walkman, but now rather than being a portable cassette or CD player, it is a MP3 player. The device has attracted an immediate following and has become one of the most popular MP3 devices on the market. The Sony Walkman MP3 player offers users many ways to transfer files. One of the easiest ways is to use Windows Media Player to transfer and organize your audio files into playlists.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open Windows Media Player.

    • 2

      Select the "Library" tab.

    • 3

Click on the text "Now Playlist List" on the right-hand side of the window, and select "New Playlist" from the drop-down menu. You can then right-click on the new playlist that has been added to your Library to rename it.

    • 4

Drag and drop your audio files into the empty new playlist window. (Audio files must be MP3, WMA, or AAC format.)

    • 5

      Click the "Sync" tab.

    • 6

Plug in your Sony Walkman MP3 player into the computer and wait for Windows Media Player to recognize it.

    • 7

Click on the playlist in the Sync tab that you want to transfer to your Walkman. Then click on the "Add" button to add it to the Walkman.

    • 8

Click the "Finish" button once you have added your playlist. Your playlist and its corresponding audio files will now sync to your Walkman.
