This Halloween you can be the heroic Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn or the nefarious Darth Maul with a little time and effort. Since many of these characters will be popular this year, chances are you'll be able to buy adult costumes. If not, read on.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Halloween Makeup Kits
  • Face Paints
  • Anakin Skywalker Costume
  • Darth Maul Costumes
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi Costume
  • Queen Amidala
  • Qui-Gon Jinn Costume
  • Star Wars Masks
  • Communicators
  • Light Sabers

    Jedi or Sith

  1. Step 1

Dress more like a priest than a warrior for a Jedi or Sith costume, with flowing robes that move freely. Think of the gui top of a karate outfit with loose stretchy pants fitting into knee-high boots.

  2. Step 2

Wear a white top with white or brown pants and brown boots for a Jedi outfit; wear all black with gloves for Sith.

  3. Step 3

Find a robe with wide cuffs. Underneath the robe, wear a white tunic top that covers a white shirt - just like a Jedi.

  4. Step 4

Accessorize. Those strong with the force know how to do this with belts, communicators and weapons. Jedi wear brown belts and Sith black. Any toy store will have a suitable communicator based on the movie, and a light saber. Or check the Things You'll Need list to order online.

  5. Darth Maul

  6. Step 1

Buy a child's Darth Maul costume. Even if you can't find an adult outfit, you will want to buy a child's costume for the make-up supplies and application instructions.

  7. Step 2

Wear a black tunic top that reaches to just above the knees. (Keep in mind that Darth Maul's tunic has a hood to conceal his identity.)

  8. Step 3

Buy Darth Maul's dual bladed light saber at a toy store.
