All projection television connect to a power outlet. However, if the power supply and connection cable are damaged the TV isn't going to power on and you won't be able to use the projection television. Thankfully, correcting the power supply issue is not terribly complicated and it only takes a few troubleshooting steps before you can figure out what exactly is wrong.

      Check the surge protector you have the TV connected to (if you do have one). Make sure the projector is turned on. If it is turned off the electricity won't flow from the wall outlet to the TV.

      Remove the power cable from the wall outlet you currently have the projection television connected to.

      Insert the power cable into a different power outlet. Occasionally power outlets can experiences shortages, causing devices to not access the electrical power.

      Remove the power cable completely from the TV. It connects into the back so it easily disconnects from the television.

      Insert a different power cable. You can find replacements power cables at most large electronic stores.

      Power on the television and it powers on without any issue.
