How to Install Zip Files on My Blackberry Bold
Zip files are those that are compressed in an effort to take up less storage space and be downloaded faster. While zip files are often installation files, you don't install zip files. Instead, you extract the compressed files (also called unzipping or unpacking) to reveal the uncompressed files. If you are trying to install a program on your BlackBerry Bold and it comes in a zip file, you must first extract the installation file and then use the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to install it.
