How to Save YouTube Videos on CDs thumbnail
Saving a YouTube video to a CD is easy.

YouTube is a free web portal that allows you to upload videos so the world can view them. At times, you may find a video that you must have, maybe of a friend's wedding or a great catch your child made in the outfield. You can easily save that YouTube video to a disk with a few clicks of your mouse and about 10 minutes of time.

Instructions

    • 1

Open a browser and go to YouTube.

    • 2

Find the video that you want to save to a disk.

    • 3

Go to the address bar and copy the web address.

    • 4

Open a browser and go to the Vixy Web site.

    • 5

Paste the web address from Step 3 into the field that calls for the URL.

    • 6

Select the format you want the file to be, then click the "Start" button.

    • 7

Select a location to save the file in the dialog box that appears after it has been converted. It is easiest if you save it to your desktop.

    • 8

Insert a blank CD into your CD burner.

    • 9

Open "My Computer" on your computer and find the CD icon. Drag the icon of the file that you saved in Step 7 onto the CD icon. Depending on your software and computer, the system will start the process of burning the movie onto the disk.
