Instructions

    • 1

Spread an old towel on the workbench.

    • 2

Remove the label found on the top of the cartridge. Make sure you remove it partially just to expose the ball bearing lying underneath.

    • 3

Slightly push the ball bearing underneath to have an access to the filling hole of the cartridge. Use a screw driver for pushing it down.

    • 4

Insert the needle of the syringe into the ink bottle and fill it with ink.

    • 5

Insert the syringe into the filling hole of the cartridge. Cover the outlet port of the cartridge with your finger. Keep the finger on the port until the refilling is finished. Do not remove the finger earlier or the ink might spill out.

    • 6

Inject ink into the hole until you find the ink tank full. Make sure you leave sufficient room in the tank for the silicon plug.

    • 7

Seal the refill hole using a silicon plug. Remove your finger that was covering the outlet.

    • 8

Put the cartridge back into the Canon PIXMA iP4200 printer. Run a few prints to test the ink flow.
