How to Change the Burn Speed for Windows Media Player 11
Windows Media Player 11 gives you the option to change the burn speed of an empty disc. This is important because certain blank discs are capable of certain write speeds. Write speeds range from 1X to 52X. For instance, a 52X write speed disc is capable of writing data at 7800KB per second. Higher speed discs will take more time to execute overhead processes, such as organizing the files and tracks. Write speeds are always written on the non-magnetic side of your blank disc.
