Many Finale 2008 users run into the problem of starting an arrangement in the wrong key or deciding to change the orientation of their notes half-way through a piece. Instead of manually editing each note in the measure(s), the "transpose" tool in Finale lets users transpose entire measures by certain intervals or octaves.
