How to Register a Fifth Wheel Trailer in Colorado

How to Register a Fifth Wheel Trailer in Colorado thumbnail
Fifth wheel trailers must be registered in Colorado.

All trailers, including fifth wheel trailers, must be registered in the State of Colorado. You have 60 days after purchase, or 90 days after you become a resident of the state, to register your vehicles. Once you register, you'll be issued a license tag which must be fastened to the rear of the vehicle, and stickers indicate the month and year of your registration. Put the stickers on the tag. In subsequent years, when you renew your registration, you'll only need to paste on a new year sticker.
