How to Uninstall Calendar Creator
Calendar Creator is a series of calendar-creation software products produced by Broderbund. You can either buy a physical copy of the software or download it, providing the "Smart Download" is compatible with your operating system. Calendar Creator works on the most recent versions of Windows, including Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. You should uninstall Calendar Creator if you wish to get rid of the software or if you need to upgrade the software. If you're planning on reinstalling Calendar Creator in the future, do not delete your Calendar Collections.

Remove Saved Calendar Collections

Close Calendar Creator.

Click on "Start," then "Run." Type in "explorer," then press the "Enter" key.

Navigate to the to "C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\My Documents" directory (Windows XP) or to the "C:\Users\user_name\Documents" directory (Windows Vista and Windows 7). Substitute your own Windows username for "user_name." For example, if you log on as "Bananas," the directory path would be C:\Documents and Settings\Bananas\My Documents.

Highlight all files with the BCC extension.

Press the "Del" button on your keyboard. Click on "Yes" to confirm the file deletion.

Right-click on the "Recycle Bin" in the left column of the Explorer window. Left-click on "Empty Recycle Bin."

Close all programs.

Click on "Start," then "Control Panel." Click on "Classic View" in the left column.

Double-click on "Add/Remove Programs" in Windows XP or "Programs & Features" in Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Find "Broderbund Calendar Creator" in the list of installed programs. Double-click it.

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation.

Tips & Warnings
You may also back up your Calendar Collections by following the steps in the first section. Instead of deleting the files, save them to removable media.
