How to Add a Friend on Webkinz

Take your Webkinz online.

Each Webkinz animal plush toy includes a unique code that can be used to log into Webkinz World, an online universe where you can interact with your pet. You can play games, enter tournaments, and customize your pet's room. You can also play games with other players that are in the same "Color Zone." Before you can play with other players, however, they must be added as "friends."

Instructions

1. Click the "KinzChat" cell-phone icon on the "Dock." Find it at the lower-right-hand corner.

2. Turn it on by clicking its "Power" button.

3. Click "Add" and type the user name of the friend to be added.

4. Click "Send." When your friend receives the message, she has the option to accept or reject the friend "invite." If she accepts the invite, she will appear on your friends list (and you will appear on hers).

Tips & Warnings

• Determine your Color Zone by the color of your cell phone. If your Color Zone matches another player, a green smiley face will appear next to their name.

• Click the "Zone" button to change your Color Zone.
