How to Change Your Race in Morrowind for Xbox
"The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" has two hidden races that players can become: vampires and werewolves. Both races have stat boosts and a unique quest line. They also have numerous disadvantages. Race changes require contracting a disease from a non-player character of that same race.
Instructions

Vampire
-
1
Find a vampire to fight. You can find them in many caves, tombs and ruins. This includes Aralen Ancestral Tomb, Nerano Ancestral Tomb and Serano Ancestral Tomb.
-
2
Cast the spell "Weakness to Common Disease" on yourself. This will increase the chances of becoming a vampire. This is optional but helpful if you currently have high disease resistance.
-
-
3
Let the vampire hit you with punches. You will eventually receive a message saying that you caught "Porphyric Hemophilia."
-
4
Wait three days. Your character's race will change into a vampire.
Werewolf
-
5
Follow the main quest line in Solstheim until you are in Skaal. This island can only be accessed if you are playing the "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition."
-
6
Fight the werewolves in Skaal. You will contract a disease called "Sanies Lupinus." The attack on Skaal and catching the disease are both mandatory parts of the quest line. Do not cure the disease when the NPC tells you to do so.
-
7
Wait three days (in game play). Your character's race will change into a werewolf.

Tips & Warnings
You can contract "Sanies Lupinus" from any werewolf in the game. However, the other werewolves are so rare and elusive that it is very difficult to reliably find any one of them.
Virtually every NPC in "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" will not talk to a player that has changed into a vampire. Some will even attempt to kill you on sight. You also will not be able to buy spells or equipment, have equipment repaired, or get items enchanted by NPCs. Do not change your race before buying everything you want from NPC merchants.
Vampires suffer damage when in sunlight.
Do not transform into a werewolf in front of any NPCs. If you do, virtually every NPC in the game will shun or attempt to kill you.
