1
Start by crocheting a half circle using green yarn. To crochet a half-circle, chain two stitches and make three single crochet stitches in the center chain from the hook. Then chain one and turn your work, and make two single crochet stitches in every stitch from the previous row, for a total of six stitches. Chain one and turn, and work one single crochet stitch in the first stich followed by two in the following stitch; repeat this pattern around for a total of nine stitches. Continue in this pattern, each time adding one more single crochet stitch before the doubled stitch, until your purse reaches the desired size.

Finish off your last row, cut your working yarn leaving a long tail, and fold your half circle in half with the right sides facing. Use that extra long piece of leftover yarn to whipstitch down the seam toward the center of the half circle, finish off and weave in your ends. Turn your purse right-side out; now it should resemble a cone or a triangle.

Sew a zipper along the curved top edge of your cone. This will be your purse's closure. Set the purse off to the side when you finish this step.

Crochet several flowers in a variety of colors. For a basic crocheted flower pattern, chain two and make five single crochets into the second chain. Join with a slip stitch to form a circle, then chain one and make two single crochet stitches in every stitch around. Join with a slip stitch, chain three, and make two double crochet stitches in the next stitch. Chain three, and make a slip stitch in the following chain. Repeat this pattern around: two double crochets in the next stitch, chain three, slip stitch in the following stitch, chain three). Fasten off.

Sew your crocheted flowers to the top portion of your purse on both sides. Now the purse base will resemble the flower stem portion of the bouquet, and the flowers will burst out of the top. Add a strap by attaching a length of green yarn on one side, then making enough chain stitches until your strap reaches the desired length. Attach this yarn on the other side of the purse and then single crochet back down the chain stitches. Finish off and weave in your loose ends.

Tips & Warnings
To make your flowers different sizes, try using thicker and thinner yarns and larger and smaller hooks to make the same pattern. Now they will all be unique but still uniform.
