How Can I Get Yahoo Voice Chat on My Mac?
Communication is often shaped by technology. Computers and the Internet have made it much easier for people from across the globe to communicate in real time. One application, Yahoo Messenger, allows users to communicate in several different ways, including instant messaging, voice chat and video chat. Sometimes, Mac users are left in the dark because many applications are only developed for PC users. However, Yahoo Messenger is now available for Mac users.

Visit Yahoo's official Yahoo Messenger site and click the "Download" tab, located at the top of the screen.

Make sure that you download the Mac version of Yahoo Messenger. The website usually will automatically detect if you are on a Mac and present you with the Mac version. It should say "Yahoo Messenger for Mac" at the top of the screen. However, if it does not present you with the Mac version, locate the "Other Versions" menu in the middle of the page and select "Mac."

Click the "Download Now" button and a DMG file will save to your computer. DMG files, also known as disk images, are the equivalent to EXE files on a PC.

Install Yahoo Messenger once the DMG file has completed downloading. Double-click the DMG file to install it. Agree to the terms of service by clicking "Agree" and then double-click the Yahoo Messenger icon when it appears. Yahoo Messenger will be installed.

Launch Yahoo Messenger and you now have the ability to voice chat on your Mac.
