Install a commercial PDF writing program on your computer. Many such programs are available, and the features vary among them. Adobe Acrobat Pro is used in the steps that follow, and a free trial is available from the Adobe Systems website.

Open the Microsoft Publisher 2007 document from which you want to create a PDF file.

Right-click once on the menu bar and select the "Acrobat" menu. This will create a separate menu specific to the Acrobat line of products. Click once on the "Create PDF" button on the "Acrobat" ribbon. This will launch a separate "Save PDF As" dialog window.

Use the "Look in" list to select a folder in which to save the PDF file. Type a name for the PDF into the "File name" field. While Acrobat will automatically populate the "File name" field with the name of the source document, you may highlight and type over the name to change it. Click on "Save" to complete the creation of the PDF version of the Publisher 2007 document.
