How Do I Add a Screensaver to My Menu?
Your computer comes pre-installed with certain screensavers on it, but you can also download screensavers for free online from a variety of websites. If you like to change your screensaver often, then it might benefit you to add screensavers to your Start menu so that you can easily set them as your default screensaver. That way you don't have to go through "My Computer" and the "Display Properties" window every time you want to change your screensaver.

Click the "Start" button, click "My Computer" and then click the "C Drive."

Click the "Windows" folder and then click the "System32" folder. Click "Show contents of this folder" to open the "System32" folder if you receive a message stating that the contents of the folder are hidden.

Locate the screensaver within the "System32" folder that you want to add to your menu. Right-click on the screensaver and select "Pin to Start Menu" to add it to your menu.

Tips & Warnings
Screensavers end in the file extension .scr.
Beware of modifying the contents of the "System32" folder because you could damage important system files if you do.
