How to Customize Cell Phone Battery Covers

Customize your battery cover to add a nice touch of personality to your cell phone.

The cell phone battery cover is usually on the back of your phone and holds the battery in the phone. It is usually the same color as the rest of your phone and is typically a solid, plain color. If you want to add a personal touch to your cell phone, the battery cover offers plenty of space for you to do so. Purchase a battery cover customized especially for you, or get creative and customize your cover for free.

• Markers
• Rhinestones
• Pictures

Instructions

1. Decide on a design for your customized battery cover. Decorate the cover with a pattern, a framed picture, words or an image that's special to you.

2. Go to a website that specializes in personalized skins for your cell phone, such as www.skinit.com or www.uniqueskins.com. Choose a skin you would like to use, or design your own. Upload any picture that you have saved on your computer, choose your cell phone model, and order your custom cell phone skin. If you don't want to use a personal picture for your battery cover, skip this step.

3. Remove your battery cover from your phone. Attach the customized cell phone skin, if you purchased one.

4. Decorate your battery cover with stickers, glitter, rhinestones, drawings or whatever you choose (do this right on top of the skin if you chose to buy one). Make sure that your designs don't stop the battery cover from properly attaching to your cell phone. If you used glue, glitter or markers, wait until they are fully dry before you reattach the cover to your phone.
