The Funny UST Scandal virus, sometimes referred to in short as the Scandal virus, disrupts your computer and messes around with Yahoo! Messenger. If you want to protect yourself from this virus, you should get an anti-virus program as soon as possible and keep it up to date. Viruses as simple as this one pose no threat when you have any anti-virus solution installed on your computer.

Instructions

      Hold down the CTRL and ALT keys on your keyboard and press on the "Delete" or "Del" key, letting go of all three once you are done. This takes you to the task manager window, where you can close certain processes running on your computer.

      Click on the "Processes" tab near the top of the window.

      Right-click the following processes and click "End Process" on the menu:
      killer.exe
      lsass.exe
      smss.exe.

      Go to your Start menu, click "Run," write "cmd" in the box and click "OK."

      Write "cd\" to change to the root directory of your hard drive.

      Write "attrib --h --s lsass.exe" and "attrib --h --s smss.exe" to show the files and let you delete them.

      Write "delete lsass.exe" and "delete smss.exe" to delete these files.

      Click on your Start menu and click on "Search."

      Write "Funny UST Scandal.avi.exe" where it says "File Name" and press the Enter key on your keyboard to begin a search for the file.

      Delete every instance of the file you find by selecting the file and pressing the "Delete" or "Del" key on your keyboard.
