How to Stop Credit Card Mailings
Credit card companies generally use a set of qualifying criteria to access new potential customers from the credit bureaus. Once they have the information, they will send credit offers to a potential credit holder's home. To stop receiving credit offers in the mail, you must opt-out. The consumer credit agencies have created an official website and automated help line to help consumers opt-out of lists that result in credit offers.
