Members of Verizon's Authorized Retailer Program earn co-op accruals, commission and account maintenance fees when they activate wireless calling plans. Becoming a Verizon wireless retailer starts with contacting Verizon's corporate office.

      Contact Verizon's corporate office. You can call the corporate office at 800-621-9900. Ask for an Account Manager in the Indirect Sales department. Express your interest in participating in the program and request information on the requirements, process and expectations.

      Visit Verizon's website. Go to Verizonwireless.com and click on "About Us" in the upper-right corner. Under "Vendor Programs" on the "About Us" page, click the "Agents & MVNOs" link. Under "What is an Authorized Retailer?" section, click "Learn more." Click the "Contact us" link to fill out Verizon's online form and have an Account Manager contact you to discuss retail opportunities.

      Discuss the opportunity. The Account Manager will contact you to discuss how the program works. He or she will provide information on the contract and compensation structure. Make sure you are prepared to provide information on your experience, your business, annual sales and other products and services.

      Consult with an attorney. Have your attorney review the contract, compensation, marketing and additional agreements or paperwork prior to committing to the program. Make sure you review the information your attorney provides thoroughly before making a decision.

      Complete the qualification process. Verizon may request information on your business' financial standing, customer base and credit. In addition, you may be required to provide your resume and professional references. Compile an application package as requested and submit your information.
