How to Order Beads Wholesale

Buy your beads at wholesale prices to save money

When making your own jewelry for fun or profit, you can save money on jewelry and bead supplies by ordering them at wholesale. Some websites sell their beads at wholesale prices to anyone, but some companies require you to have a tax ID number. A tax ID for your business allows you to buy bead supplies at wholesale prices without paying taxes. You will also need an Employer Identification Number (EIN).

Instructions

1. Search for bead suppliers that will sell wholesale to you without a business license. When you place an order, make sure they don't require a minimum purchase, which is the least amount you can spend on one wholesale order. If they do not have what you want or need, and a different wholesale supplier does and they require a tax ID number, you will need to apply for one.

2. Apply for your Employer Identification Number by going to your local IRS office, calling the IRS business hotline or going to the IRS website. The requirements for receiving an EIN are legal U.S. residency and a social security number. If you apply by mail, you will need to wait up to four weeks to recieve your number. If you apply on the website or by phone, you will receive your number immediately.

3. Enter your EIN in the appropriate box or line when ordering your beads wholesale.

4. Search online for wholesale beads, equipped with the proper numbers and identifications.
