How to Add RAM to a Xerox 6180
Adding RAM to printers helps them capture more data about what they print. As a consequence, printing becomes faster, your printer can print larger files and your computer frees up a little more of its resources which it would otherwise have dedicated toward the printing queue. Large printers such as the Xerox 6180 printer have a panel you can open to add memory without having to do any complex modifications. You might find this upgrade as easy as installing your printer.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure you use memory created specifically for your printer. Using other types of memory might not work or even fit in the slot designated on the printer.
Never operate on the printer with dirty hands. Residue from your hands might damage the internal components around the memory slot.
