Becoming a teacher's aide does not always require a college degree. Finding an accredited associate program in education on-line requires knowing specifically what to look for in a program. When researching colleges look for an institution that is accredited as a college and offers an accredited program. These may be two separate accreditation for the institution and the individual department, but it is important to ensure that both are accredited to receive a usable degree.

Apply to more than one college. There are several good colleges to choose from online, but acceptance is not guarenteed, so it is best to have back-up options if the number one choice is not an option.
