Media Net pushes news and updates to your BlackBerry.

Media Net is an Internet service available for AT&T wireless phones that lets you access the web, email, sports scores, social networking tools, news, games and entertainment. It comes with a Live Ticker feature, an application that scrolls pictures and headlines across the bottom of your BlackBerry's idle screen. Media Net is used in conjunction with BlackBerry Internet Service, which is required on every BlackBerry smartphone.

Instructions

    • 1

Access Media Net through your BlackBerry's home screen. This should appear when you register your AT&T device on the BlackBerry network. Select the "Media Net" icon to open the application.

    • 2

Access Media Net through bookmarks. Open the Internet browser on your BlackBerry's home screen. Press the "Menu" key and scroll to "Bookmarks." Scroll to Media Net and choose "Homepage," which will take you to the page.

    • 3

Customize your Media Net homepage. While on the page, click "Edit" next to My Links, or scroll to "Customize Media Net" to add or delete categories and links. You can also manage your Media Net settings via your PC by logging in to the My Media Net tool at att.com.

    • 4

Create a Media Net wireless email account. Your address will be YourName@medianet.att.net. Go to the "Email" tab to set up. You can also set up your BlackBerry so that email from other providers is pushed to your device by selecting the "Email" tab, then choosing "Options" and "POP/IMAP Mail Settings."

Tips & Warnings

  • If unable to access the Media Net homepage, try clearing the browser cache, performing a hard reset or resending the service books. If none of these work, contact AT&T Customer Care.
