How to Write & Protect an Audio CD for Copying
In order to write and protect a CD, you will need two programs: one to first write the CD and another to protect it. Any CD writing program will work, and most computers come with one already installed. Any CD protecting program will work, but you will likely need to download one from the Internet. Fortunately, it's easy to find these programs online.

Insert your blank CD into your CD writing drive. Many computers have a CD drive for writing CDs, and a separate one for reading CDs. Make sure you insert your blank CD into the correct drive. You won't be able to write it otherwise.

2
Open your audio writing program and import your songs. Most computers will automatically open your audio writing program as soon as you insert the CD in the correct drive. If not, just click on it.

-
5
Click the "Burn" or "Write" button to write your audio CD.

Open your audio protecting program and then open the audio CD you just created. With your CD contents imported into the program, select to burn the protection data onto the CD. Tips & Warnings
Before you spend time downloading an extra program to copy protect your CD, make sure you absolutely need it. Every single copy protection can be bypassed by anybody who really wants to do so. Some may be harder than others, but with all the programs out there, every copy protected CD can be copied.
