Sign up for the rewards cards offered at every store you shop. This will allow you to get the weekly discounts advertised in the flyers and you will also need this card to get additional discounts from websites.

Go to shortcuts.com and click the "Register" button. Fill out the registration form, choose your grocery store from the drop-down list and enter your rewards card number. Click the "register" button at the bottom of the page.

Look over the list of items on the shortcuts website and click the "add" button for the ones you might purchase. This does not obligate you to purchase them, it just records the discount on your rewards account so if you do purchase any of the items you've added the discount will automatically be deducted when you scan your rewards card in the grocery store.

Go to cellfire.com and click "Get Cell Fire Now." You will then need to enter your cell phone number, year of birth, zip code and email address. You should then be able to add your rewards card number associated with participating stores.

Click "Browse Offers" and select the items you intend to purchase. The discounts will automatically be loaded to your rewards card and deducted at the checkout counter.

Go to couponsurfer.com and click "join now." Fill out the short registration form and click "Show Me the Coupons." Now search the entire list of grocery coupons and choose and print the ones you want. These coupons may be used at the same time as the discounts you've already loaded onto your rewards cards through shortcuts and cellfire. By combining the disounts you'll save a lot of money and you might get some items for free.

Always scan your rewards card before the cashier totals your order.
