Instructions

    • 1

Unplug the appliance and move it away from any counters or walls.

    • 2

Clean the appliance thoroughly with an all-purpose cleaner and allow time to dry. Remove knobs and handles that you do not want painted with a screwdriver. Cover items that you cannot remove with masking tape.

    • 3

Shake the can of epoxy paint well to ensure it is evenly mixed. Spray on with slow, even strokes. If more than one coat is needed, let the previous coat dry before applying the next one.

    • 4

Allow the appliance to dry thoroughly and reattach the handles. Remove any tape that was used.

    • 5

Wait two days after painting to use an appliance that uses heat, such as an oven or microwave. This will eliminate any fumes that may occur when the new paint is heated.

Tips & Warnings

  • If the appliance is rusty or has areas where the paint is scraped off, it may be necessary to sand it down before painting.

  • The fumes from appliance epoxy are stronger than those of traditional paint. Be sure to keep the area where you are painting well ventilated and do not expose children or pets for long periods.
