How to Become a Jedi on Star Wars Galaxies
Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided is a massively multi-player online role-playing game developed by LucasArts for the PC. In Star Wars Galaxies, the entire Star Wars universe is open for exploration. Players create a customized character and head into the Star Wars Galaxies universe where they can develop their character, as well as communicate and interact with players from all across the globe. As the character progression continues in the game, the player will see his character grow, possibly even becoming a Jedi with enough development and training.

Unlock the Force Sensitive Character Slot. The Force Sensitive Character Slot allows the player to create a game character that can train and develop skills related to using the Force. Whether you are able to achieve Jedi status depends on your character's mastery of the Force. You must prove your skill and training with a regular character before the Force Sensitive Character Slot is unlocked.

Evolve the character's Jedi skills. When your character finally reaches Jedi status, you can unlock different skills and disciplines through continued practice and training. Training increases combat level and expertise points. When your character's combat level and expertise points reach a certain point, you will acquire new Jedi skills or items. When your Jedi character reaches combat level 20, you receives your Initiates robe.

Increase Jedi rank through development. Along with skill development, your Jedi character is ranked depending on what stage of skills you have achieved. New Jedi characters start out as Padawans, which is basically a novice Jedi. Through increased skill development and training, your character will earn new ranks such as Jedi Adept, Jedi Knight and so on.

Tips & Warnings
Be aware of perma-death. Characters created win the Force Sensitive Character Slot are susceptible to what is called perma-death, which means that if the player's character perishes a few times in the game, the character will be deleted. The player must then create another character using a Force Sensitive Character Slot and start the whole process over again from scratch. All development points accrued by the former character will be lost.
