AOL does not allow all users to send bulk e-mails.

Unlike many e-mailing programs, America Online (AOL) does not allow users and members to send out mass, or bulk, e-mails. Considered spam or unwanted marketing, these bulk e-mails can be used for a variety of reasons. For some e-mailers, bulk messages are practical and useful, and do not represent what AOL considers spam. You can be added by request to AOL's Bulk E-Mail Exception List (or White list) if you meet their delivery standards.

Instructions

      Navigate on your Internet browser to AOL's "Conditions to Bulk Sender Status" page.

      Read the content to determine if you fit the delivery standards, and click the box in front of the line agreeing to the conditions of the status.

      Click "Accept Guidelines" and enter your AOL account e-mail on the next page. Select "Next," then a "Confirmation" e-mail address.

      Follow the prompts to enter your personal information and describe why you should be on the white list. Your reason should comply with the guidelines stated on the first page that you read. Submit your application when you are finished and wait two to three business days to be contacted by AOL about your status.
