How to Make a Photo Memory Blanket
A photo memory blanket can be a great gift or just a beautiful way to display your favorite photos. Any type of photo can be added to a blanket, so the creative possibilities are endless. Baby photos can be compiled and arranged on a blanket for a child's keepsake, or photos of a couple can make a heartwarming wedding gift. To place the photos onto a blanket and create your memory blanket, you will need to know how to use photo transfer paper.

1
Choose some photos from your collection to use on your blanket. Digital photos work best, but paper printed photos will work with a scanner.
-
2
Scan your paper photos into your computer with your scanner. Follow the instructions on your scanner to do this.
-
-
3
Place a sheet of photo transfer paper in your printer's feed tray for each photo you are using on your blanket.
-
4
Print each photo from your computer onto the transfer paper and allow the ink to dry before you remove it from the printer.
-
5
Lay your blanket on a flat surface and place the printed photos on the blanket where you want them to go. Place them printed-side down.
-
6
Smooth over the back of the transfer paper with an iron on medium heat. Press firmly to transfer the photo completely.
-
7
Peel back the transfer paper. Your photo will be permanently printed on your blanket.
