How to Make Cruise Ship Towel Animals
Returning to your cruise ship room after a long day of activities is always sweeter when a towel animal greets you. Ship stewards place these amusing towel animals in your room typically in the late afternoon or while you are dining in the evening. You can easily make these towel animals yourself with some practice.

Cat Towel Animal
-
1
Create a cat towel animal by starting with a full-size towel. Place it horizontally on a surface. Start from the top left corner and gradually roll the entire towel into a long elongated shape. This will be the tail of the cat.
-
2
Take another full-size towel and fold it in half. Then shape the towel around the tail, tucking the ends of the towel around the tail to create the elongated oval shape of the cat's body.
-
-
3
Take a facecloth or washcloth and fold it so that it forms a triangle
-
4
Fold the tip of the triangle toward the long edge.
-
5
Fold the outside edges down, forming the ears.
-
6
Hold the washcloth together securely and turn it over so that the ears are facing upward and place it over the top portion of the cat's body for the head.
Rabbit Towel Animal
-
7
Take a square hand towel and wet it with some water. Wring it out.
-
8
Fold it in half to form an upside-down triangle.
-
9
Fold it in half again by taking the right side to the left side to form a smaller triangle.
-
10
Fold the left side back over the right so that it extends over the edge a couple of inches.
-
11
Take the bottom portion of the towel all the way to the top and tuck it into the hole. Stand your rabbit up and spread the ears out a bit.
