      Open PowerPoint.

      Load the PowerPoint presentation that you would like to add animation to.

      Select the PowerPoint slide with the text that you would like to animate.

      Click "Slide Show."

      Select "Custom Animation."

      Highlight the text box containing the paragraph that you would like to animate.

      Click "Add Effect," select "Fly In" and click "OK."

      Click "OK" to exit out of the custom animation settings.

      Click "Slide Show" and select "View Show" to preview the slide you are on.

      Press the space bar when in "View Show" mode to trigger the paragraph to fly in.
