Things You'll Need
- 12 strips uncooked bacon
- 1 tin of smoked oysters (or a pint of fresh oysters)

Instructions

1
Hand-wrap each oyster with a strip of uncooked bacon. If the oysters are canned and pre-smoked and smaller, you can cut bacon strips in half. For fresh oysters, use a whole strip of bacon if necessary.
-
2
Hold each strip of bacon in place on oyster by piercing it all the way through with a toothpick. Set bacon-wrapped oysters off to the side.
-
-
3
Melt butter in skillet on high heat, but be careful not to burn it.
-
4
Add 1 cup of green onions, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium and cook until onions become tender, about 5 minutes.
-
5
Add bacon-wrapped oysters to the pan. For canned oysters, allow them to cook for approximately 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. If using fresh oysters, add the liquid smoke at this time and then add the bacon-wrapped oysters. Allow approximately 20 minutes for cooking, stirring occasionally.
