Bikini Top

Start by crocheting the bra portion of the bikini top. For the first cup, use the main color of yarn and chain stitch 21 stitches. Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across the remaining stitches. Chain one and then turn the row.

Single crochet the next four rows, using single crochet stitches in and across. This should leave you six rows. For the seventh row, skip the first single crochet, to decrease the row by a stitch. Single crochet in next single crochet stitch and in each remaining stitch to within the last two single crochet stitches. Skip the next single crochet, then single crochet in the last single crochet--this will decrease the stitches by two. Repeat the last row eight times--two single crochet stitches remain. Do not turn the work. Continue to work single crochet stitches down one side of the cup to the lower edge. Chain stitch one stitch and turn.

Single crochet in each single crochet stitch to the upper edge of the cup. Make a 12-inch-long chain stitch for the strap of the bikini top. Turn the material and single crochet in the second chain stitch from the hook and each remaining chain stitch. End off/finish the stitches.

Repeat the first three steps to make the second cup of the bikini top. When two single crochet stitches remain, slip stitch in two single crochet stitches and continue repeating the steps from the first cup.
